It's been a great year for Cardi B so far. She has a major hit with her song "Bodak Yellow," which has been the number one song in the country for the third consecutive week. With this feat, the Bronx-bred MC now has the longest-running number one solo song by a female rapper in history.
"Bodak Yellow" is not a stranger to historic success, when it hit number one three weeks ago it became the first solo song by a female rapper to hit number one on the charts in 23 years. The last song to achieve this milestone was Lauryn Hill’s “Doo-Wop (That Thing).”
Now all that's left for Cardi is to drop that much-anticipated album which she promised to release this month.
