With the release of the much anticipated duet album from Faith Evans and her late husband The Notorious B.I.G. The King & I, set to debut on May 19, Faith has released a new track from the album to wet our appetite. "Take Me There" features cameos from Sheek and Styles P as well as never released vocals from Biggie and a new hook from Evans. The Biggie verse was originally set to be part of Lil Kim's "Drugs" track from her 1996 album Hardcore.
THE KING & I is slated to be released on May 19 — just two days before Biggie’s birthday.
Brooklyn born rapper Scott King, formally known as Q Da Kid, dropped a new track called "Hopeless." The song gives you a glimpse of his state of mind the day he wrote it, feeling hopeless but wanting to accomplish more. The song borrows a few lyrics from the 90's hit song "Hopeless" by Dionne Farris.
