For fans of America's Next Top Model (ANTM) the last season had to be a little weird. While they were excited about the return of the show and it's debut on VH1, it felt like something was missing. After being the face of the franchise for 22 seasons, Tyra Banks was no longer hosting. Her replacement, former Roc Nation singer Rita Ora, was a nice replacement, debuting with the best ratings in the last five years, but for fans it just wasn't the same. When season 24 debuts, ANTM will be once again be whole as they are getting back a huge piece of their family.
Tyra Banks, who will also take over hosting duties from Nick Cannon on America's Got Talent, will once again be the face of ANTM. The retired super model turned TV show host host commented on her return after announcing it yesterday (March 16). “I’m overwhelmed and humbled by the intensity of the ANTM fan base whose deep affection for the show led me to have a change of heart,” Banks said in a statement. “After giving it a lot of thought, I realized that remaining behind the camera wasn’t enough because ANTM is woven into my DNA.” As for last season's host Rita Ora, well looks like she will be busy promoting her new music as she explained in a tweeting thanks Tyra and the show:
No specific date has been announce for the start of season 24, but with Tyra back is should be must see TV.
