Tiffany Haddish has been doing a lot of winning recently. She continues to excel in movies, is starring in a hit show on TBS, and now she is ready to take over Netflix with a new hour-long stand up special.
Haddish, who already signed on to voice a lead character in the forthcoming animated series Tuca & Bertie on Netflix, was just announced as the latest comedian to get a special on the streaming giant.
The special has not received a title at this time. Nevertheless, Lisa Nishimura, vice president of original documentaries and comedies at Netflix, said that the service is excited to add the star to its growing selection of comedy specials.
Haddish’s stand-up show will join several Netflix specials that have been released in the past couple of years. Previous Netflix deals include Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, and Ellen DeGeneres.
That's not the only thing Haddish has going on. She is also gearing up for the blockbuster comedy Night School with Kevin Hart. The film will debut in theaters on Sept. 28.
Tiffany’s Haddish’s stand-up comedy special will debut on Netflix sometime in 2019.
