Thursday nights on ABC has been must see TV for awhile thanks to show creator Shonda Rhimes. "Grey's Anatomy," "How To Get Away With Murder" and "The Catch" has drawn millions of people to the Disney owned channel, but no show has people buzzing like the Kerry Washington led political drama "Scandal." The show is set to come back for it's seventh season next year, but now TVLine is reporting that the next season may be the show's last.
Next week at ABC's upfront, it is expected that Rhimes will officially make the announcement. The show at it's peak averaged near 9 million viewers, but this season the show is averaging 5.7 million viewers, which may be the reason why the show will soon end.
The Season 6 finale of "Scandal," directed by Goldwyn, is set to air May 18 at 9 p.m. PDT.
