Kodak Black had a rough night this past Thursday (Jan. 18). The rapper saw his Florida home got raided by local police while the 20-year-old rapper was doing a video on Instagram Live. The raid resulted in seven charges against the rapper including grand theft of a firearm, possession of marijuana over 20 grams, and neglecting a child. There are also two charges for possession of a weapon or ammo by a felon and two probation violation charges.
This is not Kodak’s first run-in with the law. He was released from jail in June after serving 97 days of a 364-day sentence. He was released early for completing a voluntary life skills class behind bars.
Black was in the midst of serving a one-year house arrest sentence and had to get permission from his probation officer and the court before traveling. He could face serious jail time if the charges remain.
In October, he was also indicted on sexual conduct charges. The case is ongoing.
