As the 24K Magic Tour gets closer to it's start date, Bruno Mars is doing his best to make it the most entertain tour ever. One way to do that is by adding must see acts, and he is doing that with the addition of Ciara to the lineup.
Mars announced the exciting news in a video message on Instagram. “I was trying really hard to make a cool tour poster once we got confirmation on who’s joining us on the finale of The 24K Magic Tour,” he wrote. “But in my excitement I forgot I suck at arts and crafts. Swipe left for the official announcement…” In a butchered PhotoShop video post, he revealed Ciara was the surprise guest.
Following the initial announcement, it was revealed that Ella Mai and Charlie Wilson were also added to the lineup.
Cici is reportedly replacing Cardi B, who was originally tapped to open for Mars. The rapper announced in July 2018, that she was pulling out of the tour schedule due to the recent birth of her daughter Kulture.
Despite fans’ disappointment, Ciara will probably make a great addition to the team. The singer has found success with her recent single “Level Up” and recently dropped a dance video for “Freak Me,” featuring Tekno.
The 24K Magic World Tour kicks off on Sept. 7, in Denver.
Diana Gabaldon (Outlander novels), Dan Brereton (“Nocturnals,” “Batman: Thrillkiller”), Gene Ha (“Mae,” “Justice League”), Tom Cook (“Masters of the Universe,” “Smurfs”), Bob Camp ("Ren & Stimpy"), Andrew Pepoy (“The Simpsons,” “Archie”), Kurt Lehner (“Gargoyles,” “Marvel Action Hour”), Jose Delbo (“Raggedy Ann,” “The Beatles”), Dan Dougherty (“Beardo,” “Touching Evil”), Jonathan Glapion ("Batgirl," "Wonder Woman") and Arthur Suydam ("Deadpool," "Marvel Zombies") are among the dozens of professional writers and artists scheduled to attend Wizard World Comic Con Chicago, August 23-26 at the Donald E. Early in 2018, we saw the unimaginable success of the movie The Black Panther. The film wasn't just one featuring a majority black cast with a positive black role model. it was much more. The Black Panther, through the setting of the fictional country of Wakanda, showed the world what black excellence is all about. A strong leader, strong family values, strong and smart women, a focus on education, and a desire to make the world a better place. It is with this in mind that Wakandacon was born.
What is Wakandacon? It is a celebration of black creativity, technology, business, culture, entertainment and more. Wakandacon is something new! It's an inclusive place where you can be a nerd about anything – pop culture, gaming, tech, womanhood, politics, or your own beautiful Blackness.
The creators imagined a place free and unshackled from the ravages of racism; of exploitation; of discrimination; of emotional, physical, and sexual violence. With that in mind, they hope to create a space for people of all types to come together, educate each other, and celebrate all of our passions. It's an event where anyone can dress up, dance, connect, support each other, and celebrate the entire diaspora looking past the present and into our future.
The show kicks off this weekend, going from August 3rd to the 5th. It will take place at the Hilton Downtown Chicago.
Tickets are still available for the weekend festivities. Tickets cost $35 for the weekend. To join the fun, sign up for your passport to Wakanda here.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - No release date set

Arrow Season 7- October 15, 2018, The CW
It’s Arrow’s seventh season, and by now the show knows what works: superhero landings, martial arts, and gratuitous shots of Stephen Amell’s abs.
Better Call Saul Season 4 - August 6, 2018, AMC
The fourth season of Better Call Saul promises a first-time introduction to a character who’s always been lurking in the shadows.
Black Lightning Season 2 - October 9, 2018, The CW
Black Lightning is following up its impressive debut season with the promise of an ominous villain who wants to “rip the light out of Black Lightning.”
Doctor Who Series 11 - October 2018, BBC One
Jodie Whittaker is the first woman to play Doctor Who’s title role in the history of the show. She’ll make her debut as the Thirteenth Doctor when season 11 premieres this fall, and this is our first real glimpse of her in action.
The Gifted Season 2 - September 25, 2018, FOX
Fox’s dystopian post-X-Men mutant show is back, and it looks like we’re going to get comic book fixtures like the Morlocks as well as a new mutant on the block that’s looking for world domination.
The Walking Dead Season 9 - October 7, 2018, AMC
The trailer for the ninth season of The Walking Dead shows our survivors coming together and, well, realizing that living together as a new community isn’t going to be as easy or as peaceful as they thought. Season nine — which will also be Andrew Lincoln’s last season playing Rick Grimes.
Titans Season 1 - Fall 2018, The CW
Forget what you know about the Teen Titans on television. DC’s Titans is based on the same comic book super team (who were also a fixture as a cartoon back in the day as the Teen Titans and now as Teen Titans Go!) but ostensibly darker and grittier than ever before. Case in point: Robin saying, “Fuck Batman.”
The knock on Warner Bros. is that it’s too focused on dark and gritty superhero movies. It looks the studio has found something lighter (think Spider-Man: Homecoming) in Shazam!
The anticipated follow-up to M. Knight Shyamalan’s 2017 hit Split also serves as an unexpected fusion with one of his most acclaimed films.
Glass is set to debut in 2019.
In just over a month, the North Coast Music Festival is set to takeover Chicago's Union Park for three days of music and fun. Some of the featured artist include Miguel, Juice WRLD, DJ Snake, Jamiroquai, and Lil Xan.
