During the finale of an Ariana Grande concert Monday (May 22) in Manchester, England, a suicide bomber set off an explosion that killed 22 concert goers, and left at least 59 injured. The incident has left many, including Ariana, broken, especially with the loss of so many young lives.
Following the attack, Grande took to twitter with some sober words for her fans. She wrote "broken. from the bottom of my heart, I am so so sorry. I don’t have words.” After some time took away some of the shock, the "The Way" singer offered a few more words saying “There is nothing I or anyone can do to take away the pain you are feeling or to make this better. However, I extend my hand and heart and everything I possibly can give to you and yours, should you want or need my help in any way.”
Just yesterday (May 26), the 23 year old artist announce plans to hold a benefit concert in Manchester. The money raised from the concert will benefit the bombing victims and their families.
According to ABC News, 10 people have been arrested in connection with the investigation. Salman Abedi, 22, was identified as the suicide bomber. Details on the incident are still forthcoming.
