On Wednesday (June 7), police in Fort Wayne, Indiana found a body in the Maumee River, it was found to be the body of former NFL receiver James Hardy III. Hardy had been missing since May 30, when his mother called in a report.
Hardy was first discovered by a worker at a near by water filtration plant. When law enforcement arrived, Hardy was pinned up against the dam. No cause of death has been released yet.
James Hardy was drafted into the NFL in 2008 by the Buffalo Bills, he was the 41st overall pick. He played 16 games over two seasons with the Bills.
