iLLANOiZE remembers the impact that ZackTv had on the the city of Chicago.
It would be better for me and the iLLANOiZE team to be meeting up with ZackTv, but instead the senseless violence that plagues the city leaves many people sending condolences and celebrating the life and impact of Zack Stoner.
Zack ‘ZackTv’ Stoner lost his life last night in South Loop, according to news reports. ZackTv was a platform for many rising Chicago artists and talents. He was fearless, and committed to contributing change in the city of Chicago. His vision was clear, and his work held no boundaries.
Zack dedicated himself to giving many artists the shine that they deserve, an outlet to one day make it out the trenches. Some artists that were featured on ZackTv too lost their lives to senseless street violence, that’s just the story of many dreams cut short for our young black men and women across the city.
We send our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and supporting team of Zack Stoner. May his legacy, impact, and vision one day spark a light and continue to unite the people.

Old habits die hard as the old saying goes, that saying rings true today for comedian/actress Roseanne Barr. The star of the hit ABC sitcom "Roseanne" saw her show get cancelled today as ABC reacted swiftly to racially insensitive rant that she posted earlier today (May 29) on Twitter. The show had just returned to the air after first leaving 20 years ago.
"Roseanne's Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show," ABC Entertainment president Channing Dungey said in a statement.
Disney CEO Bob Iger added on Twitter that "There was only one thing to do here, and that was the right thing."
The cancellation stunned Hollywood. The revival of "Roseanne" premiered to huge ratings just three months ago. Pre-production was already underway on a second season, which was scheduled for Tuesdays at 8 p.m. this fall.
ABC/Disney aren't the only ones moving on from Roseanne. Barr's talent agency, ICM Partners, have also dropped her following her tweets.
"What she wrote is antithetical to our core values, both as individuals and as an agency," the agency said in a statement. "Consequently, we have notified her that we will not represent her. Effective immediately, Roseanne Barr is no longer a client."
It’s the end of an era at BET Networks, as chairman and CEO Debra Lee is stepping down on Monday, after 32 years with the company.
The news comes after Lee ceded day-to-day oversight of the African-American-focused cable network in December, with Scott M. Mills taking over as president. She is not being replaced.
If you have ever wanted to dive into a delicious burrito bowl or devour some chips and guacamole but you didn't want to leave the comfort of your car, you are in luck. Chipotle is finally adding drive-thru lanes to their restaurants.
Chipotle is trying to move us into the future by adding drive-thrus to its existing locations, but the twist is that you won't be able to order at them. They'll be used to furnish burritos ordered online or via its app. And since you're a busy person who also knows their salsa preference, this will probably make your life easier.
There are already drive-thrus at two Chipotle locations in Ohio, and one each in Tennessee, Texas, and Massachusetts. More are in the process of rolling out across the country, with one coming to Virginia for sure, according to CNBC. A digital order tends to take 12 minutes to complete, but the idea is that most customers will be placing lunch and dinner orders hours ahead of time and just swing by to pick them up.
While digital orders only make up about 10% of their business, the company believes that with this "new" innovation the numbers will increase. More info about when and where more drive-thrus will come after a special investor call on June 27.
