It was quite an interesting and entertaining Sunday night in Chicago as Ring of Honor Wrestling presented Global Wars: Chicago. As the event was winding down and the Bullet Club celebrated in the ring, as a special guest was revealed to be sitting in the audience. It was none other than ROH legend, and recently fired WWE writer, Jimmy Jacobs!
This all went down after Kenny Omega successfully defended his IWGP US Title against NJPW’s Yoshi-Hashi. As Omega was joined by other Bullet Club members in the ring, and after Omega and ROH Champion Cody Rhodes shared some positive words, Matt Jackson of the Young Bucks suggested that they take a "Bullet Club" selfie.
That's when they went to the crowd to find a fan willing to take there pic. What they found was a more than willing Jacobs, who earlier in the week was fired by the WWE after the fallout from a selfie he took with his ROH buddies during the #BCInvasion of Monday Night Raw a few weeks ago.
After Jacobs took the pick, Nick Jackson of the Young Bucks told Jacobs “We’re sorry we got you fired Jimmy.”
