When it comes to live TV, you never know what might happen. This was definitely the case during today's Wendy Williams Show when the host suddenly passed out during a segment.
At the beginning of her annual Halloween costume contest segment during today's show (October 31), Williams suddenly began to mumble in her speech. She then seem to freeze with a look of panic on her face. The host then dropped to the floor in a faint.
Fortunately, Williams would return some moments later and was able to finish her show. Before continuing, she explained to the audience that she had over-heated from her costume but she was good to go.
Thankfully Wendy will be ok, but her scare should serve as warning about costume safety. It is very important to be safe while dressing up otherwise this could happen to you.

If you love Issa Rae and the show Insecure, and really who doesn't, you will be happy to know that she is working on a new project with HBO. The 32-year-old writer producer and actress is developing a drama for the cable network that will be centered around a black family dealing with life in Los Angeles in the ’90s.
Deadline is reporting that Rae is set to co-produce the series with Angela Flournoy, a National Book Award finalist and author of the critically-acclaimed debut novel The Turner House.
The series will focus on the characters, Sheryl, who is a former real estate agent, and Jackson, a “conflicted” LAPD officer in the anti-gang task force. The couple’s teenage daughter, Ebony, and son, Les, will also be featured.
Rae’s new project will be her second potential hit series on the network behind Insecure which was recently renewed for a third season.
The television academy’s board of governors discussed the wave of assault and harassment accusations against Harvey Weinstein by women across the industry during a Thursday meeting. And while Weinstein has not been immediately ousted from the voting body behind the Emmys, that seems imminent.
The Directors Guild has begun the process of kicking Weinstein out of the guild. Following Saturday’s meeting of its national board of directors, DGA president Thomas Schlamme said the guild filed disciplinary charges against him on Oct. 13.
On Thursday, in an op-ed for The New York Times, the Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o detailed a pattern of predatory behavior Weinstein had directed at her, starting when she was still a student at the Yale School of Drama. For unknown reasons, Weinstein issued a more specific statement in response to Nyong’o’s essay, calling her out by her (first) name and stating—as she had already done in her Times piece—that she was the one who invited him to New York to see her Broadway show.

When the November/December issue of Playboy Magazine hits newsstands (if those still exists) on October 31st, it will be a historic one. That is because it will mark the first time Playboy has chosen a transgender model as a playmate. Ines Rau, an openly transgender French model, will have the honor of being Ms. November 2017.
While Ines won't be the first transgender model to pose nude for Playboy, the magazine featured supermodel Caroline “Tula” Cossey, who was born a man but not openly transgender, on their 1990 cover, she will be the first to be an actual playmate. As for Cossey, she has been featured twice in the magazine as she was asked to pose again a few years after her original shoot.
While it seems like many people are congratulating Playboy for being inclusive, the move is being met with a lot of backlash on social media. Despite the negativity from some, Rau seems more than delighted by the honor and how things turned out.
“When I was doing this shoot, I was thinking of all those hard days in my childhood,” Rau said to the mag. “And now everything happening gives me so much joy and happiness. I thought, ‘Am I really going to be a Playmate—me?’ It’s the most beautiful compliment I’ve ever received. It’s like getting a giant bouquet of roses.”
The magazine hits stores on October 31 and the magazine’s cover will pay homage to founder Hugh Hefner, who passed away in September.
When television fantasy and pop music collide you get… an engagement!!
Ok, so if you’re wondering what I’m talking about, you haven’t heard the news that Sophie Turner who plays Sansa Stark on Game of Thrones has said “YES” to DNCE frontman, Joe Jonas.
The two announced the engagement as any good millennial would, with a dual Instagram post!
Jonas, 28, and the 21 year old actress have never officially confirmed they were a couple but over the past year they’ve been less shy about public outings and PDA.
Friends of the couple and fans alike have taken to social media to congratulate them including Sophie’s on-screen sister, Maisie Williams, who posted the engagement announcement picture with caption “Congratulations to my beautiful girlfriend on her engagement This is just one of MANY life milestones we’ll share. Love you both,”.
In Jonas’ camp, with congrats, was his ex-girlfriend, Demi Lovato, who proved that there is no bad blood between her and her Camp Rock co-star who commented on Jonas’ Instagram post saying “HUGE CONGRATS!!!!! Sooooo happy for the both of you!!!!”
With all this excitement, I still can’t get passed one little detail…
Would it have killed him to get a manicure before posting this picture. Those long nails are not cute. Below is a zoom in on this overlooked detail.
Anywho, congrats to the couple!
